We offer a variety of post-treatment and surface treatment services for CNC machined parts and sheet metal. Post-treatments are designed to improve the characteristics of the part, including surface finish, general durability, corrosion resistance and appearance.
Galvanized
Use: Zinc coating (galvanizing) protects parts from rusting.
Applicable materials: This method is suitable for steel and iron.
Nickel and Chrome Plating
Uses: Nickel and chromium coatings (electroplating) are often used for decorative and anti-corrosion purposes, or to increase surface hardness.
Applicable materials: This method is suitable for all parts made of metal.
Anodizing: Hardness and color
Uses: Anodizing protects parts from corrosion, improves durability and makes parts non-conductive. After anodizing, the parts can be colored.
Applicable materials: Anodizing is only suitable for aluminum and titanium.
Available colors: Black hard coat, black, blue, gold, grey hard coat, green, natural hard coat, natural, orange, red.
Polishing
Use: The purpose of using polishing is to remove marks left by CNC machining, contamination and oxidation and to improve the appearance of the part.
Applicable materials: Applicable to all materials.
Sandblasting
Purpose: The pearlescent treatment is mainly used to improve the appearance characteristics of the finished parts.
Applicable materials: Applicable to all materials.
Paint and powder coating
Uses: The purpose of powder coating is to increase the smoothness of the surface and make the parts resistant to corrosion. Powder coating can also be used for coloring purposes.
Applicable materials: Applicable to all materials.
Quenching and Tempering
Purpose: Quenching aims to increase the surface hardness of the part. Tempering reduces the brittleness of the part.
Applicable materials: This method is mainly suitable for steel alloys.
Normalizing and Tempering
Purpose: The normalizing or annealing process stabilizes the part’s mechanical properties by stress relieving the CNC machined part, while tempering reduces the brittleness of the part.
Applicable materials: Stress relieving is suitable for all alloys. Tempering is only suitable for steel alloys.
